She distributes her own clothing & cosmetics lines, manages a photo studio & a DJ agency & is also a television hostess on the programme "Hoje em Dia", aired by Brazilian TV network Rede Record.
Hickmann was once listed in the Guinness Book of World Records for being "The model with the longest legs", measuring 48" ( 123 cm ) out of a total height of 73" (6'1" / 185cm). Since 2002, the Guinness Book of World Records no longer lists this title.
She was ranked #47 & #85 on the Maxim Hot 100 Women of 2004 & 2005, respectively.
She was discovered in Sao Paulo in November 1999 as Ana's friend had asked herself to meet up with some people from a modelling agency. Her friend who asked her to come with her, for company, was sadly sent home,
